We’re located conveniently on the highway 118, just 4 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park with 22 waterfalls and close to state game lands, it’s the perfect retreat for hikers, hunters, and nature lovers. Stylish, peaceful, and ready for your adventure.

The space

Huntress Acres
Formerly the Scandinavian Motel – Now Fully Transformed
Nestled in the heart of Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania, Huntress Acres is a serene and stylish country escape where I poured every dollar, sweat and tears and hope that my vision comes to life with the help of your stay. Once known to locals as the Scandinavian Motel, this hidden gem was in very bad shape, it has been completely gutted and renovated into a modern countryside retreat, offering guests the comfort well deserved surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Pennsylvania wilderness.
The once-dated interiors have been replaced with a warm, minimalist aesthetic, yet infused with a rustic Appalachian soul.

Other things to note

The property is on State Route 118, even though it sits on 25 acres behind it, it is not fully cleaned out from the previous hoarders, I mean owners. It’s a work in progress, so pardon the grounds appearance. I appreciate your support!

Septic system care: only flush toilet paper — no wipes, hygiene products, or anything else, please.

Tidy up before check-out: Since we do not charge a cleaning fee, we appreciate it if you leave the space minimally tidy (e.g., trash in bin, used towels in one place, no excessive mess).
